Our Shaping Sustainable Futures programme aims to give young residents an introduction to the green sector, preparing for the jobs of the future. We’ll help them explore exciting job opportunities and learn how they can contribute to the environmental agenda in housing.
Designed for 16-24 year old residents, these residentials will be the perfect opportunity to engage with younger residents about how housing will change in the future and the role they could play in shaping it.
These residentials are completely free to attend, with accommodation and all meals included.
What could Housing Associations get out of it?
By gaining and understanding of the challenges housing associations face as the sector moves towards net zero, younger residents will be able to engage and help be part of solutions. This could be through the new green career options are inspired to pursue during the residential, or by delivering their environmental action plan in your community.
You’ll have the opportunity to showcase the value involved residents create through engaging with your housing association, encouraging them to join your resident panels after the event.
