Damp and Mould: The big picture

Sponsored by Switchee

There is no mistaking the impact that damp and mould can have on people’s lives. Residents should not feel powerless, blamed or concerned for their health because of the conditions inside their homes.

Tackling damp and mould has moved to the top of the agenda and the appetite to improve the way housing associations and landlords respond to these issues has never been greater.

Chaired by Gavin Smart, CEO of CIH, this event will examine the big picture of damp and mould. It will encourage collaboration from departments that may not always work closely together, giving attendees the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the perspectives of others, inspiring new ideas and helping us arrive at better solutions.

We will also be joined by Rebecca Reed, Head of Insight and Development for the Housing Ombudsman. Rebecca will share the Ombudsman’s findings on how the social housing sector is tackling damp and mould and what more needs to be done.
