Chester Railway Station is just ten minutes away by taxi from Trafford Hall.

Trafford Hall is on the outskirts of the village of Wimbolds Trafford just off the A56 and three miles from Junction 14 of the M56 and one and a half miles from Junction 12 of M53. 

By Road:

From the North

Take the M6 heading south 20/9 for the M56 signposted Chester/North Wales.  Take Junction 14 which is signposted for the services and Stanlow/Elton.  At the roundabout, turn right following the A5117.  Approximately half a mile down the road, turn left at the traffic lights into Cryers Lane.  This then becomes Ince Lane.  Trafford Hall is approximately 3 miles down this lane on the left-hand side.

From the South

Take the M6 north and come off at Junction 9/20 for the M56.  Then as above from Junction 14.

From Wales

Take the A55 to Chester.  Leave at Junction 11 which is signposted for Chester and non-motorway traffic.  Turn right at the roundabout on to the A56 towards Frodsham and Helsby.  Go through Mickle Trafford and past both the Shrewsbury Arms and the Nags Head pubs which are on the left-hand side.  After the Nags Head pub, take the turning on the left in to Ince Lane B5132.  Trafford Hall is on the right past the Sandfield Golf Driving Range.

From Merseyside and the Wirral

Travel along the M53 to Junction 12.  Then as above from the A56.

From the East

Please note that the A54 joins the A51 at Tarvin to become the A51 to Chester.  The A556 and the A54 join outside Delamere to become the A54.  The A49 and the A51 join outside Tarporley to become the A51.  Take the A51 to Chester.  This joins the A55 which is signposted to the M56.  Then follow the directions as from Wales.

If travelling from Runcorn

Take the A56 to Chester through Frodsham and Helsby.  At the Helsby Arms, veer off to the A5117 to Elton.  Go past the petrol station.  At the set of traffic lights turn left in to Cryers Lane.  This becomes Ince Lane.  Trafford Hall is 3 miles down this lane on the left-hand side
